CLEAR LIMITS.
Use the news and tools to organize a shipping decision—not to replace a current quote, a signed contract or confirmation that a service is available. These terms explain what the Site provides and what it does not.
The service is information and decision support.
Supply Chain Savings combines source-linked logistics reporting, original operational analysis and tools for testing explicit assumptions. Martingale and Medallion operates the service. The Site does not itself book transportation, issue a carrier quote, confirm space or commit a provider to a service.
My SCS includes saved lanes and products, diagnostic Cargo planning, customer-input cost tools and frozen decision briefs. Billing, checkout, public assessment intake, provider connections and new REAL engagement collection remain off. Saving work does not purchase a service, book transportation or send a brief to the operator.
Read the evidence label and the date.
A reported fact, our interpretation and a fictional scenario have different roles. Source dates, reporting periods and verification limits should travel with the claim. Company-reported figures are attributed, not independently audited. A later development can make an older article incomplete; check the source and date before relying on it.
Illustrative tables and editable future cases are not live quotes, current market observations or predictions. A reported company cost increase does not establish your own rate increase. A model’s low/base/high labels do not assign probabilities or guaranteed ranges. No live stock-price target or investment outcome is promised.
Generated logistics imagery is labeled as illustration. It is not a photograph proving the reported event. See the editorial method for the separation of reporting, inference and assumptions.
You supply the decision context.
Check the mode, lane, currency, unit, time period, capacity and delivery requirements before comparing alternatives. A lower modeled cost is not a saving if the assumed service is unavailable or fails your requirement. Some costs—such as taxes, accessorials, inventory, transfer, insurance or implementation—may be excluded; each calculator’s stated scope controls the example.
- Use current written quotes and applicable contract terms before making a commitment.
- Verify the inputs and any scope differences between scenarios.
- Keep confidential or unnecessary personal information out of free-text fields.
- Treat results as aids to review, not guarantees of rates, capacity, delivery or savings.
Legacy My Freight and Compare saves remain browser-local. My SCS saves are explicit, authenticated database writes; legacy and owner-only staging records are not automatically migrated. Neither kind of save reserves a service or submits an assessment. Use the relevant local clear control or the My SCS export and permanent-deletion controls when needed.
Cargo output is diagnostic. Geometric placement does not certify support, stacking, weight distribution, restraint, payload, handling or equipment suitability. Verify the actual equipment and all operational constraints with a qualified person before loading. Five-mode cost results use your inputs and preserve unknown charges; they are not carrier quotations or guaranteed savings.
Research has stated limits. The CL1! oil outlook is an unissued, unscored research draft with a retrospectively reported July signal. Source/continuous-contract basis, exact timing and target-scoring rules remain unresolved. It is not a validated probability, independently proven historical prediction or connected live feed.
Saved member work and its revision history remain until confirmed permanent deletion; archiving is reversible and does not erase history. Capacity limits are 80 records and 1.5 MB for the current workspace, plus 500 saved revisions or 16 MiB of revision history. At capacity, new saves stop rather than silently discarding retained revisions. Export alone does not free capacity; permanent deletion is a separate explicit choice. Full export and deletion are available in My SCS Data & account. Minimal non-content replay-protection metadata can remain, and downloads or hosting backups may persist. Workspace deletion does not delete your ChatGPT account. Read the specific retention and deletion boundary before saving.
An uncertain save or deletion response is not proof of success. Use the receipt-check and exact-retry controls, and review the current saved state rather than submitting unrelated duplicate actions.
Assessment intake and billing remain off.
Assessment intake is unavailable. The public service provides articles, source-linked context, browser-local reader tools and signed-in member workspaces, not an operational assessment submission form. Existing owner-only TEST workflows do not open public intake.
There is no checkout, connected payment provider, active subscription purchase or charge. Any displayed proposed tier or entitlement test is an offline illustration, not an offer that starts billing. No response time, service engagement, quotation, capacity, delivery or savings outcome is guaranteed.
Contact links open your email application. You decide whether to send; the Site does not forward tool inputs, deliver an assessment email or subscribe you to email notifications. See the privacy notice for member saves, legacy local storage, unchanged request counts and disabled v2 REAL engagement.
Use the service without abusing it.
Provide information you are entitled to share. Do not impersonate another person, submit malicious content, probe another user’s records, evade security or rate limits, or use automated submissions to disrupt the service. Do not submit passwords, payment information, medical details or unnecessary sensitive data.
Keep source attribution and uncertainty labels attached when sharing a brief or result. Do not present an illustrative output as a verified market quote, imply an affiliation that is not stated, or misrepresent a model result as a provider commitment.
The service can reject invalid or abusive requests and can be unavailable during maintenance or configuration changes. Administrative records are not made public by a submission.
External sources remain independent.
Links to original reporting, company announcements or data sources are provided for inspection. They do not create an endorsement, affiliation or service guarantee. Their content, availability and privacy practices can differ from this Site’s.
The integrated Cargo engine is available in My SCS as diagnostic planning only. The Cargo Crate handoff page opens a separate application. Accounts and saved plans are not linked, and no SCS profile or scenario is automatically transferred. The separate app has its own access and storage rules. Other SCS tools remain available.
These operating terms do not promise that every source, calculation or page is complete, error-free or continuously available. Check material information independently before taking an irreversible business action.
