FROM THE HEADLINE.
TO YOUR NEXT MOVE.
Logistics news becomes useful when it helps you ask a better question about cost, capacity or service. We put the source, the business implication and the assumptions in separate view.
A news hub with a practical next step.
Supply Chain Savings is built for readers working through logistics, shipping and supply-chain decisions. The goal is to connect a source-backed event to the operational question it raises—not to turn every headline into a generalized rate forecast.
A useful article can stand on its own. If the story is relevant to your operation, the next step is optional: inspect the assumptions, test a compatible local profile, compare cases or prepare a specific freight question. You do not need to submit an assessment or enable measurement to read the reporting.
Read the dated, source-linked articles, use legacy local tools or sign in to My SCS to save your shipping work. Billing, public assessment intake, provider connections and new REAL engagement collection remain off. No email notifications are enabled. Google Search Console reports Google search visibility separately from on-site analytics.
The method stays in the open.
Start with an identifiable source.
Link the original company announcement, dataset or reporting where available. Identify syndication or retrieval limits rather than presenting a search snippet as a complete independent verification.
Name the date and the measurement.
Keep publication dates, fiscal periods and data-as-of dates distinct. Preserve units, scope and important qualifications. A historical observation does not become a live rate because it appears in today’s article.
Separate reporting from our analysis.
Describe what the source establishes, then explain the possible operating mechanism. Conditional exposure is not proof that a specific company, lane or customer has been affected.
Make the cost assumption editable.
Show the input, formula, unit and omitted costs. Fictional examples illustrate sensitivity; they do not inherit factual status from the story beside them. Your entered figures are not independently verified.
Leave a trail for the next review.
Keep source links, verification limits and update notes with the article. Identify the evidence that would change the analysis. An unresolved important claim stays on hold rather than becoming a confirmed market indicator.
Keep your business context under your control.
My Freight.
Choose interests and work with local shipping profiles. Relevance is a transparent match—not inferred spending or knowledge of your exact lane.
OPEN MY FREIGHT ↗TEST AN ASSUMPTIONCompare cases.
Keep cost, capacity and delivery assumptions explicit. A hypothetical lower cost still has to meet the service requirement.
COMPARE OPTIONS ↗PREPARE THE QUESTIONBuild a brief.
Carry the selected facts, assumptions and next evidence into a readable review copy. Sharing is a separate choice.
OPEN IMPACT BRIEF ↗SIGNED-IN WORKSPACEMy SCS.
Save lanes, products, diagnostic load plans, five-mode cost scenarios and frozen decision briefs. Export or permanently delete saved work from Data & account.
OPEN MY SCS →Legacy My Freight, reading interests, Compare and the local Impact Brief remain browser-local; device remembrance is optional. My SCS is different: explicit signed-in saves store member records and their revision history in the Site database. There is no automatic migration from legacy tools or the separate owner-only staging Site. Saved member work remains until confirmed permanent deletion, with full export and the backup limits described on the privacy page. Assessment intake remains unavailable.
Credibility includes the limits.
Company-reported results are attributed to the source, not described as an independent audit. The Site does not imply a company affiliation, connected live market feed or guaranteed savings. Cargo results remain diagnostic. The CL1! oil outlook is an unissued, unscored draft with unresolved source/basis and scoring details, not a validated probability or independently proven historical forecast. An editorial byline is not a claim that a named credentialed specialist has reviewed every item.
Images labeled as generated illustrations depict a generic setting; they are not reporting evidence. Source access, freshness and review status remain important even when the layout looks finished.
If a claim needs correction, identify the article, the specific statement and a supporting source when contacting the operator. A correction or new interpretation should be recorded with the relevant article rather than silently turning an old assumption into a new fact. The editorial process supports regular publication; it does not make an unreviewed item automatically publish.
